Giclee Reproductions

“A Single Note”

available on canvas

or archival paper

A number of Richard’s paintings have been reproduced in high quality Giclee format.

( “giclee” – a term coined from the French language to describe the process used in printing the image).

Giclee prints are the result of significant improvements in IRIS printing technology and are accepted worldwide. The quality of the giclee print rivals traditional silver-halide and gelatin printing processes and is commonly found in museums, art galleries, and photographic galleries.

The images generated from high resolution digital scans are typically printed with archival quality inks onto various substrates including canvas, fine art, and photo-base paper. With proper scanning the images provide exceptional colour accuracy and detail. They are reproduced in limited edition, signed by the artist and, often, include a unique artist’s alteration to each print.

Giclee prints provide access to an enormous selection of art images and are distributed throughout the world. Painting images by Richard McDiarmid are available and may be purchased directly from the artist on line. (see Shop)

They are available printed on canvas and mounted on standard or box canvas stretcher bars.  Images are also available on request, printed on  archival heavy paper. Framing is typically the choice and responsibility of the customer.

Image sizes may vary and custom sizes are available on request. Dimensions will vary depending on the original image proportions.

If the giclee is not purchased directly from the artist or does not include a certificate of authenticity with the artists special stamp, the giclee may not be a limited edition and may have been copied by others. For confirmation contact the artist at email above.

The samples above are typical  image sizes. Custom sizes may be available on request.
